TEKNİK 1 Zaman uyumu tekniğine göre eleme yapıldığında ve ana cümlenin zamanına bakıldığında şu sonuç ortaya çıkar. Ana cümle present tensede olduğuna göre muhtemelen takip eden cümlede yine present tenselerden biri olacaktır. Bu açıdan bakılınca (a) seçeneği haricindeki tüm seçenekler elenir. TEKNİK 2 (“EVENTHOUGH” İLE ZIT FİKİR ARAYIN) “………….._______eventhough certain…..” boşluktan sonra “eventouhgh”, bağlacı verilmiştir. Bağlaçlar ile ilgili konu anlatımlarımızda da belirttiğimiz gibi “evethough” bir durum karşısında zıt bir sonuçtan bahseder. Bundan dolayı yapacağınız ilk şey “eventhough” bağlacının bulunduğu cümledeki anlama bakmak olmalıdır. “difficult economic conditions” bize olumsuz anlam verildiğine göre seçeneklerde olumlu bir durumdan bahsedeni seçmemiz gerekir. (a) seçeneği yine “strong profit growth” tamlamasıyla karşımıza doğru olarak çıkar.
